Press Credential Requests

The Gettysburg Film Festival welcomes coverage from qualified members of the media. Please note that press credentials are limited and issued at the discretion of the festival staff.

Press credentials are provided for the purpose of covering the festival and are not intended to be used as complimentary admission for personal attendance.

Press credentials may be approved for:

  • Local, regional, and national news outlets (print, digital, radio, TV)

  • Established film, arts, culture, or history publications

  • Verified YouTube channels, podcasts, or other digital creators with a consistent publishing history and demonstrated audience reach

Requests will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the outlet to the festival’s audience

  • Recent coverage examples and publishing consistency

  • Audience reach (circulation, viewership, traffic, subscribers, etc.)

  • Proposed coverage plan and timing

  • Festival capacity and event access limitations

Credentials are limited and may be capped per outlet. Approved media are expected to publish coverage of the festival. Failure to publish may affect eligibility for future credentials.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. The Gettysburg Film Festival reserves the right to approve, deny, or limit access at any time without notice.
